John Deputato has overall responsibility for leading and growing The NPD Group’s Advanced Analytics business in North America.  He joined NPD in 2010 after nearly a decade of executive leadership at Information Resources Inc. (IRI). His tenure at IRI included serving as Vice President and then Senior Vice President of Client Solutions.  In his most recent role there, John served as practice leader for major beauty, health care and food clients. With over 25 years’ experience in the CPG industry, John has also served as the marketing executive for major brand franchises such as Old Spice, Stetson, and Woolite and has managed sales, service, and research teams focusing on consumer panel, modeling, testing, and business enterprise solutions.

In his current role, Erik leads the group’s analytic consulting engagements for consumer technology, with a focus on econometric forecasting, marketing effectiveness, and revenue management. He is an expert in the use of Advanced Analytics to forecast consumer demand, and he has pioneered integrating external factors such as macro-economic indicators and demographic trends into forecasting and marketing mix analytics. He has worked with several Fortune 500 companies on forecasting/business planning, marketing effectiveness, and revenue management.

HellerRorri Heller
Executive Director, Advanced Analytics
U.S. Beauty

Rorri Heller leads Advanced Analytics for The NPD Group’s Beauty, Sports and Fashion Footwear businesses in the U.S. She has more than 20 years of market research experience, with expertise in translating business questions into researchable queries, innovative and efficient research design, and strategic analysis. Before joining the Advanced Analytics Team, Rorri was an Analytic Director in NPD’s Research Sciences Group, handling methodology/design and research needs for the Entertainment & Communications and Wireless divisions and  heading up the Questionnaire Review Committee. Her previous work with NPD's Custom Product Development Team included advanced analytic applications focused on consumer loyalty, brand equity, and pricing. Rorri’s market research career also includes tenure with Lowe & Partners, Young & Rubicam, and BBDO.

PetersonTammy Peterson
Executive Director, Advanced Analytics
Fashion Apparel, Automotive, U.S. Retail Business Group

Tammy Peterson provides Advanced Analytics solutions for NPD’s clients in the fashion apparel and automotive industries, and the U.S. Retail Business Group.  She uses her statistical expertise to develop Advanced Analytics solutions for her clients business decision needs using store level weekly POS data and consumer purchase panel data.  Her expertise encompasses price elasticity, promotion modeling, marketing mix, matched market testing, and market basket analysis using frequent shopper data.  Prior to joining The NPD Group, she was Director of Consumer Insights at Concept Shopping and also spent 10 years at IRI on the analytics business.  In addition, Tammy has held an adjunct faculty position at Lewis University’s College of Business since 2005.

StoneLinda Stone
Director, Advanced Analytics
Canada Consumer Technology, Retail Business Group, and Software;

Linda Stone works with both US and Canadian clients across multiple industries to develop analytical solutions that address their key business issues and challenges. Before joining The NPD Group in 2010, she spent 11 years with AC Nielsen. Earlier in her career, she was on the faculty at the University of Minnesota and Dartmouth College. Linda has been published nationally and internationally in the areas of consumer response to promotions, aggregate promotion dynamics, and television program scheduling.

VossMatt Voss
Director, Advanced Analytics
Food & Beverage, Foodservice

Matt Voss services as Director of Advanced Analytics for The NPD Group’s Food & Beverage and Foodservice divisions. He consults with clients on marketing and innovation opportunities using multivariate techniques such as consumer segmentations, market structures, predictive tree modeling, and forecasting. Prior to joining NPD, Matt spent 10 years at Information Resources, Inc., where he used POS store level data to optimize clients’ marketing spend, pricing strategy, and new product launches, among other initiatives.
